Ogni Altro Suono is happy to be an EFFEA Festival selected for the Ogni Altro Suono residency to benefit from an EFFEA grant.

Ryoko Akama e Attila Faravelli are the selected artists and they’ll start their residence at La Semaine du Son / De Week van de Klank (BE) in January 2024, then at Ogni Altro Suono (IT) in May-June 2024 and in the end at Waking Life (PT) in June 2024.

The artists, Attila Faravelli and Ryoko Akama will be invited to take part in the residency organized by Ramdom within the festival Ogni Altro Suono in collaboration with La Semaine du Son / De Week van de Klank and Waking Life festivals.

The multidisciplinarity project aims to explore the different forms that water can assume in its different physical, symbolic and spiritual states in a constant dialogue between ancient and contemporary, reinterpreting and promoting the rediscovery of the culture of water in different territories and traditions. The residency foresees research, the creation of site-specific projects like masterclasses, public talks, discussions and performances.

In the first residency the artists can engage with the exhibition of sound installations at La Semaine du Son / De Week van de Klank, closing event, and offering activities in Q-O2 as well.
