WORK WITH US

Ramdom is constantly evolving: we welcome new collaborations with organisations and individuals motivated to engage in cultural and artistic production, international mobility, research and development of new communication languages.

Open Call for volunteers:

Would you like to discover behind the scenes of an arts and cultural centre? Would you like to participate in its activities, join the Kora staff in preparing events and experience it from a different point of view?

We are looking for volunteers for different areas: support for artistic and cultural programming, reception of the public, assistance during events, support in the bookshop area, photography, social, translation and many other activities.

A cultural reality such as KORA – Centro del Contemporaneo always envisages the integration of new figures within its staff, through volunteer programmes. We at the Ramdom Association believe that volunteers can help enhance and enrich our many cultural projects, offering a meaningful experience to visitors. The presence of volunteers within a staff is not only a resource, but offers added value, integrating into our work to contribute to the development of the local community, which hosts us.

The ideal volunteer is guided by passion and enthusiasm, has an interest or previous knowledge in the visual arts and historical and artistic heritage, and is always interested in furthering his or her education. These are the same ideals with which we build the experience of visitors or users of our spaces. We believe that the involvement of volunteers will also lead to community engagement.

We welcome volunteers not only for programming events, but also to take care of guided tours, to assist in administrative management, to translate critical texts, catalogues, booklets, catalogue books and works, etc. This shared experience with us requires the volunteer to be paired with a mentor who will personally accompany him/her in his/her training, making him/her active and involved in the work. Our Volunteer Programme, in fact, allows you to explore different professional areas of culture and contemporary art, offering you the opportunity to enrich your curriculum, to come into contact with a stimulating cultural environment, to get to know artists and art and culture professionals at an international level, to improve your communication skills, and to develop your technical-managerial and team-working skills.

Open Call for volunteers:

  • age: +18;
  • knowledge of Italian for participants who are not native speakers;
  • interest in activities related to the cultural world;
  • in specific areas: suitable studies, knowledge of English and good social skills
    availability:
  • at least 6 months of commitment;
  • 10 hours per month;
  • help in one or more areas of voluntary work;
  • participation in events organised at KORA;
  • participation in team meetings of the volunteer areas, every 1-2 months;
  • participation in any training and volunteer programmes.

 What we offer:

  • opportunity to participate in the work of setting up and realising an exhibition in close relation and support to the curators;
  • opportunity to support the management in all activities related to the realisation of an exhibition and its planning;
  • opportunity to work alongside a team of contemporary art professionals;
  • opportunity to build a network of national and international contacts and relationships;
  • participation in Ramdom’s projects, from the planning phase to the final realisation.
