The large tapestry is a sort of political manifesto where the names of languages in extinction, the names of plants in indigenous languages, the names of women omitted from official registers, the images of healing plants that intersect with some silhouettes of botanists, illustrators and explorers and parts of female bodies are intertwined against the backdrop of a forest. The word becomes illegible at times, disappearing into the background behind the figures and leaves; at times, however, it re-emerges with its full meaning. The tapestry makes clear the risk of an enormous loss, of which humanity is the cause and, perhaps, a possible antidote.
