Home Sweet Home – exploring living spaces has renewed with the aim of nurturing the research. The new set-up has been presented to the public Friday, October 15th.
The new artists and projects are: Ivana Spinelli (Italy), Jõao Enxunto and Erica Love (USA) and spaces such as Dar Yusuf Nasri Jacir for Art and Research (Bethlehem, Palestine) and Britto Art Trust (Bangladesh).
The exhibition inaugurated KORA, the new Center of Contemporary Art, in Castrignano de ‘Greci (Lecce, Italy) last July 23rd, with over 40 between projects and artworks by artists from all over the world.
The aim of the exhibition is to initiate a reflection on the theme of the house, understood not only as a place to live, but also as a path of life, in which relationships are born and develop, generating spaces for meeting, surprise and change. Projects and artists from all over the world have joined in an active dialogue.
Home Sweet Home represents the expression of a constantly evolving psychological, social and cultural dimension, as well as a cross-generational, cross-media and multidisciplinary working methodology. Made on different formats, modular and in constant dialogue with each other, the exhibition aspires to become a way of feeling and thinking the artistic creation of the KORA – Contemporary Arts Center.
In summary, the exhibition represents its DNA: the space becomes thus a place of meeting where artists and projects determine an area of dialectical confrontation by stimulating discoveries that are always unpredictable.
Home Sweet Home – exhibition is curated by Claudio Zecchi, Alessandra Pioselli, Paolo Mele and Davide Quadrio.
