MMILE, a good performance by Ryoko Akama and Attila Faravelli

MMILE, the first masterclass/performance event by artists Ryoko Akama and Attila Faravelli, has just ended. MMILE took place at Q-02 in Brussels as part of the La Semaine Du Son / De Week Van De Klank festival and was a unique opportunity for the public, who were given permission to take a look at the various Attila’s sound objects. Ryoko instead presented a performance with various objects and at the same time explained what could be felt. Both interventions showed the public the potential of their creative strength. At the end of the event, Attila and Ryoko spoke to the audience about their ideas and answered several questions. The public was very enthusiastic about this collaboration and now we can’t wait to see what they will create at the Kora spaces in Castrignano De’ Greci as part of the Ogni Altro Suono residency project with the artistic direction of Donato Epiro. Ogni Altro Suono residency is supported by the European Festivals Fund for Emerging Artists – EFFEA, a European Festivals Association (EFA) initiative, co-founded by the European Union.”

Ryoko Akama and Attila Faravelli are the artists selected to carry out their residency first at La Semaine du Son / De Week van de Klank (BE) in January 2024, subsequently in Castrignano De Greci as part of the Ogni Altro Suono (IT) project in May 2024 and finally in Portugal in Waking Life which will take place in June 2024.
