Chi ghe pù Nisün! (Here There’s No One Left!) is the exhibition that from Tuesday 4th April to Sunday 23th July awaits you in the new Milanese spaces of Fondazione Elpis, in via Lamarmora 26.
The exhibition, conceived by Fondazione Elpis and Ramdom, presents works and site-specific installations by Bekhbaatar Enkhtur (1994, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia), Martina Melilli (1987, Piove di Sacco), Matteo Pizzolante (1989, Tricase) and Agnese Spolverini (1994, Viterbo). Chi ghe pi Nisün! represents a development of the research that the four artists conducted during the residency cycle A Sud di Marte promoted during 2022 by the association Ramdom in collaboration with Fondazione Elpis at the spaces of KORA – Centro del Contemporaneo in Castrignano de’ Greci (Lecce).
During the residency in the heart of Salento, the artists were called upon to develop a reflection on the concept of ‘Meridione’ and its geographical, historical and socio-anthropological implications, bringing into play the dichotomous relationship between city and province and the production and consumption models they historically represent. The Elpis Foundation tells us about a new episode in this journey.
