Visual artist who uses graffiti, wall art, printmaking, painting, graphics, video and new technologies. The actual path took shape around 2017 with the first approaches to post-graffiti art. From then on it will be a continuous work of returning and moving away from the wall as a support, passing through many other forms of expression. He exhibits in various Italian and foreign locations.
Nicolò’s research starts from the deconstruction and redevelopment of the environment in which he operates. His works are key points of the creative research process; new vibrations suggest letting go and feeling in harmony with everything. Art, therefore, is at the service of new and experimental expressions that represent an intimate journey of incessant search for harmony, order, meaning.
The starting point for Link Hg’s research is the observation and scrupulous contemplation of those “invisible places” that commonly escape daily attention.
The artist focuses his research on the empty spaces and holes that characterize the streets of Turin, with particular attention to the Cavallerizza Reale area. Using these holes as negatives, he creates artistic ceramic reliefs that show the topography of the land on one side and his artistic intervention on the other.
Furthermore, he explores the historical and contemporary interpretation of the ruins, working on prints of The Roman Antiquities by Giovanni Battista Piranesi with artistic interventions in pen. In the 18th century, ruins were tangible symbols of antiquity and embodied the sublime; today they are transformed into artistic supports by Link Hg, which gives them back a space of expression.
