Support Artlife Matters

Since February 2024, Eric Agyare, a young Ghanaian entrepreneur, has been in residence at the Kora spaces in collaboration with the Ramdom association. He is working on advancing a support project for Ghana, his homeland. Currently, with his organization Artlife Matters, he is seeking funding to carry out certain activities.

Artlife Matters is an NGO based on art with a focus on nurturing creative minds and utilizing art for cultural, social, and economic development in Ghana and beyond. We are currently collaborating with the Ramdom Association, exploring creative ways to encourage emerging creatives through exchange initiatives between Italy and Ghana.

Since 2019, Artlife Matters has implemented the Artitude project, engaging high school students, parents, and society itself regarding the possibilities within the culture and art industry, while simultaneously demystifying the negative conceptions surrounding the study of art in Ghana. The organization has involved over five thousand young adults and seven hundred parents, supporting their art through various communication channels. This success story has created a growing demand for the continuity of this skills-building activity both in schools and in the most rural communities. More information on the Artitude project can be found here.

To meet these demands, we have launched a new and improved Artitude experience. An artistic caravan will bring a hybrid Mobile Art Experience to young people and their legal guardians in remote communities of Ghana. We are seeking both local and global collaborators who can offer donations (funds, illustrated books, art books, audio and video materials, workshop content, physical and virtual art projects), thus providing fair access to creative opportunities for youth in Ghana and Africa.
