Claudia Roselli

Claudia is urban researcher and artist. She is graduated at the Faculty of Architecture in Florence and she obtained a PhD sponsored by the Indian Council Cultural Relation (ICCR) scheme. The PhD was developed in co-mentoring between Italy and India and it is titled “Learning from Indian Metropolis. Negotiated Urbanism.”

Her work is concentrated on the observation and study of urban dynamics and changes, events and peculiarities. She is deeply interested in the passing of time and in the socio-cultural phenomenon of resilience or transformation. She is looking at the beauty of encounter between various temporality, rhythms, religions and languages. She normally cooperates with the local community and other researchers and artists.

Claudia uses photography, performance and video to document the experiences that she made in different cities. She published articles in italian and international reviews and she presented talks and seminars in several universities.
