Gilly Karjevsky

She is an independent curator and cultural planner. She holds an MA in Narrative Environments from Central Saint Martins College. Co-director of ’72 Hour Urban Action’ – the international real-time architecture competition since 2010. Curator of The City Artist in Residence program for artists residencies in municipal departments. Member of the international artistic committee at ‘ArtCube’ artists residencies in Jerusalem. Associate Curator in ‘Province – Visitor Centre’ research project and exhibition on the notion of the public domain in Tel-Aviv. Lectures on Art and Urbanism in Israel and abroad. Her work is focused on projects which test the limits of the artistic media in public space and promote integration of artists into processes of urban design and urban planning.
